Hernán here. Last week, I commented due to having +1200 pages, I cannot migrate to the new version of Google Sites. Add that next year, the classic sites will cease, so I had no better option than to look for alternatives. It was either WordPress or MediaWiki. Since I wasn't too familiar with everything related Wikipedia coding, I went with WordPress, since I have done a course of basic web design (HTML + CSS) back in 2019 before Corona hit.
I've spent the last couple of days designing the website, whose template is Bard. I was going for the one called MyWiki but this one was throwing me issues. Plus, Bard has an alternative menu on the left. As far as progress goes, I haven't done a whole lot, I added this week's AEW shows that have aired so far (Dark: Elevation, Dark and Dynamite, tomorrow Rampage) to test waters until I'm familiar with the program. I tested and used some plugins to use.
Over time, I'll try to get everything I had added in the previous site to this one. It's not simply copy/pasting, I'm doing reformating in everything, from capitalization to the lists. The lists will be sorted differently. I have added the contact form in case anyone wants to get in touch with me in regards of suggestions and/or corrections.
As I previously mentioned, I have the alternative search bar, which should display the whole menu and the menu that appears on the header will serve as a quick redirectory for the pages in North America and Europe. This menu will drop down 9 (or six in Europe's cases due to not having too many promotions) active promotions which I consider of my preference. I am not going to add Africa and Oceania as I felt it wouldn't make sense to have a multiple submenu for only one promotion archived.
I want to thank Anthony (aka Antdogs) for allowing me to host this site on his server. Plus, the URL is now "thewemdb" and not the original one I had made when I was fully concentrating in exclusively independent music. Plus, today it marks the third anniversary that I was fired from my former job as a theme technician and have this website become more than just a draft for myself.
